What you are paying for
Payment to OfekVisa is for the work: assessing the case, identifying what could sink the application, building the file, preparing documents, completing forms and support through to the interview. That work is performed and delivered regardless of the consular officer’s decision.
Visa refusal
A refusal does not entitle you to a refund. We do not promise approval and we do not publish success rates — the decision rests solely with the consular officer and is outside our control. That is precisely why the fee is for the preparation and not for the result. We say so before any work begins.
If we believe an application has no prospect — for example where a permanent bar applies under U.S. law — we will tell you before you pay.
Government fees
Government fees, biometrics and medical examinations are charged directly by the authorities. They are not included in our fee and cannot be refunded by us, whatever the outcome.
Cancellation before work begins
For a distance transaction, Israeli consumer law (Consumer Protection Law, 1981) grants a right of cancellation within 14 days of the transaction, provided cancellation is made at least two business days before the service is due to be provided.
- Cancelled before work begins — refund less the cancellation fee set by law.
- Cancelled after work begins — a proportionate charge applies for work already performed.
- Fees already paid to government authorities are never refundable.
